A settlement with a strong traditional element is that of Perdika. The village is located southwest of Aegina and is 9 km from the main port of the city. Near Perdika is Aeginitissa, which has an organized beach. The great advantage of this beach is the eucalyptus trees that cover a large part of the beach and provide sufficient shade for bathers. Water sports enthusiasts can play with their rackets in the specially designed area, while there is lush vegetation around the beach. There is a beach bar here as well but the sunbeds are charged a bit expensive compared to the area.
